Through our photo tours we invite you to discover the beauty…the magic….the greatness of nature, but also to get a glimpse in the lives of the beautiful people from the countryside, their long forgotten traditions, or their daily chores. They are all authentic!
The photo tours are tailor made, and we would be more than happy to design everything according to your portofolio wishes, because Romania has it all!
They say an image is worth a thousand words. Having seen some of the most amazing places in Romania, chasing sunrises through the lens or ,,shooting” wild goats on the narrow mountain ridges, or villages hidden in misty valleys, we can tell you that is true.
Whether it is a mars mallow like mountain top, the Brocken spectrum in a blanket of clouds, or an impetuous waterfall that gives you goose bumps…we got you covered.
People, rural activities and traditions
Romania has a rich cultural diversity, and it is known as the country of contrasts. Roaming on the streets of a village is sometimes a step back in time. One will find women sitting in front of their porches, knitting or wool spinning; or shepperds guarding their sheep.
One can also join all kinds of festivals, events and religious celebrations or admire the diversity of the folk costumes, colored and incredibly beautiful that can be seen very often in the countryside.
And do not forget: the romanians are very friendly and happy to be photographed!
Even if you are an amateur or professional, your camera will fall in love with Romania!
*THE PHOTOGRAPHY TOURS ARE AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND
Biking accross untouched countryside
Highlights on the biking tours: fortified churches, the winding Hartibaciu Valley, Sibiu, remote villages set in green landscape, the UNESCO – listed Sighisoara citadel, the land of timber, the scenic valley of Ivo Natural Park.
The early Hungarian settlers called Transylvania the Land Beyond the Woods. And some of those woods still spread across the rolling hills and meandering valleys nesting remote, well preserved villages where time seems to have stood still ever since communities shaped up in Transylvania.
Take your time to see, listen and ultimately enjoy a few days of slow – paced, pedal – powered adventure in Lower Transylvania, home to the German burgs, respectively East Transylvania, home to the Szekely, an early branch of the Hungarian population. Let the fortified churches, colorful houses, herds of cattle or flocks of sheep, as well as the outstanding natural backround hosting them all take you into another world during our cycling tour.
