Day 1: Pick up from Bucharest and drive to Sinaia, also called The Pearl of the Carpathians. Sinaia is a beautiful mountain resort, famous, among other things for the Peles Castle, former residence of King Carol.
We will visit the castle and then we will drive to a nice restaurant in the area, that benefits from an amazing scenery: mountains and forests as far as the eye can see.
Later on, we will drive to Azuga for some winetasting at a famous winery.
The next highlight of the day is Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle. Does it deserve its spooky reputation? You will see for yourselves..
In the afternoon, after the visit at the castle, we will drive to a very scenic mountain area, Pestera village.
Hidden between Piatra Craiului and Bucegi Mountains, the village is a perfect destination for those who are looking for amazing landscapes and quietness.

Day 2: After breakfast we will visit the area and go for an easy hike through the forest. A good oportunity for the children to get a taste of the life in the village.
The next stop is Magura village, next to Pestera. Driving through Magura, the landscape will change and offer different perspectives of the mountains. This is the perfect place for photo enthusiasts.
We will drive to Zarnesti gorges, and do a short walk in the area. The gorges are very impressive and are a paradise for climbers, bikers, photography lovers.
After the walk in the gorges we will drive to Brasov, one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Romania, for a tour in the old city. Highlights include the Black Church, Ecaterina’s Gate, The rope street.
Next, we will drive to Viscri, a small but scenic village where Prince Charles bought a few houses and restaured them. In Viscri we will visit the fortified church, part of UNESCO heritage.
The day is not over for we will drive to Sighisoara and go to the old part of the town, where we will enjoy dinner at a very nice restaurant.

Day 3: We will start the day with a tour of the fortress. Among other things Sighisoara is famous for the beautiful clock tower, that goes back to the XIV th century, the Roman – Catholic church, and…the house where Vlad the Impaler was born.
After the tour we will drive to Cund village, at Valea Verde retreat, for some easy hiking on the rolling hills and great photography options.The children can play with the horses from the area or just chase each other on the hills.
In the afternoon we will drive to Sibiu, one of the most beautiful cities in Transylvania.

Day 4: City tour in the morning and then drive to a very scenic area towards Transalpina, the road at the highest altitude in Romania, that goes on Parang Mountains.
Since the route is very spectacular we will do plenty of stops for photos. In the evening we will reach Malaia, a small resort in Lotrului Mountains.

Day 5: This is the last day of the tour. We will drive to Novaci and Horezu, where we will visit a pottery workshop. The artists from the area had their work displayed in many museums around the country and abroad.
Also, we will visit some very beautiful manors, called kulas.
In the afternoon we will drive back to Bucharest.
