Ooops, we forgot to end 2022 with a nice article. Three months into the new year and we managed to publish it 😁.

♫Santa Clause is coming to town♫♪ . . and that means the New Year is also just around the corner. And before we go decorate our tree and finish our shopping we wanted to stop and say Thank you! It’s been a pleasure having you with us this year, exploring this beautiful country of ours, trusting us to take you far beyond the beaten path and into whole new worlds of experience.

Food Tasting Tours

We all have to eat. And exploring is no fun on an empty stomach. So we’re making meals part of the experience. From 5* molecular cuisine experiences to pluck & eat on the farm, traditional street snacks or long forgotten 80 ‘s childhood favourites – there is a lot of history and culture in the food. And we’re going to discover all that together. 

Wine tasting tours

We all also have to drink, no? Kidding, of course you don’t have to. But almost any region in Romania you find yourself exploring has at least an average size winery close by. Be it spring bloom, long summer evenings or autumn harvest, a walk & taste along the vineyard is always a spectacular experience. 

Off the beaten track

The pandemic years gave us a lot of time to explore (with borders and businesses quasi-closed) and we are now finally ready to share the fruit of all that exploring. We’ve pushed further and further into the mountains and discovered isolated communities and authentic stories that we cannot wait to share with you in 2023.

After 20 years of walking the less travelled road, we are now completely comfortable throwing plans to the wind and providing you with a 100% tailored experience. We know and trust our experiences and we can juggle them according to any schedule you might have, no matter how intricate and complicated. 

Dedicated children’s hiking camps

If your children already like hiking, they will love the social component of hiking with their peers. If they are still less than enthusiastic about it, this might be the experience to turn the tide. Either way, family trips will be a lot more fun after this, we guarantee it 😊.

Small groups, better experience

We’ve never been the ones for outdoor experiences in cozy groups of 40 following a guide with a flag hat. And while that’s a valid option for cities or other types of tourism, we find it hard to do anything more than a general info tour with so many people involved. And we want more. So for 2023 we’re committing to running even smaller groups, with more in-depth knowledge and flexible plans that can change and adapt on-the-go.
