We love Timisoara and the South West of Romania. Our tours there were very successful.

Timisoara is a wonderful and vibrant city. Timisoara is the city where the spark of the 1989 Revolution was ignited. But then, the Revolution moved to Bucharest.

With a population of roughly 300.000 people it is one of the largest cities of Romania. If you visit Timisoara you will be impressed by the beautiful and old architecture; by the hospitality of the people; by the good food, but also by the beautiful nature around the city.

And the most beautiful buildings in Timisoara are in the main squares: Victory Square, Union Square and Liberty Square. Perhaps the most beautiful and colourful one is the Metropolitan Cathedral . And if you want to visit the city, you can walk or use the bike.

Food in Timisoara

Plenty of places where you can find beautiful food and fine drinks. And some of the best places are in the centre of the city.

Activities near Timisoara

You can enjoy many activities outside Timisoara. Only a couples of driving and you get to Nera Gorge. Nera Gorge is part of a national park.

The best time to visit Nera national park is April – October. If you like waterfalls and water activities, this is for you.
